About Me

Hi there! I’m Jaida, the founder of Crafty Crew Kids — a fun, creative space where children can explore, imagine, and express themselves through hands-on crafts.

I’ve always loved working with kids. From babysitting and assisting teachers as a teen to leading summer camp activities, I’ve spent most of my life surrounded by the laughter, curiosity, and creativity of children. Seeing how much joy and confidence they find through art and play has always inspired me.

I graduated from Purdue Global University with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a concentration in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). For the past five years, I’ve been part of the ABA field, and I currently work as the Lead RBT, Manager, and Patient Care Coordinator at Daystar Children’s Center, an ABA therapy center. I’m also continuing my education and working toward my Master’s degree to become a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).

Through my work, I’ve seen firsthand how creativity, structure, and independence can empower children to learn new skills and believe in themselves.

Crafty Crew Kids grew out of my desire to combine my love for creativity with my experience in child development. Here, every project is designed to encourage imagination, independence, and problem-solving — all while having tons of fun. Kids are free to explore, make mistakes, and take pride in what they create, building confidence along the way.
